This has been on my mind the past few days and I'm at a loss. Learned this week that someone at work has been fighting cancer for a couple of years. The battle isn't going well and and she has about two weeks left.

I worked with her for a couple of months ~5 years ago. We're with the same company but we work in different states.

I've received notification that folks have passed away, which is really sad. But this is worse somehow. I want to do something but I feel powerless. There's nothing that can be said and I don't know. It's been a weird last few days. Can't get her out of my mind.
